CHALLENGE 129: Pride

Just because Pride Month is sadly over, doesn’t mean we can’t continue to celebrate all the incredible LGBTQ+ characters and actors out there! In fact, I think we need a challenge dedicated specifically to them!

This is the seventh of our themed all caps challenges, where you can use any cap posted at capspiration (up to and including 27th June 2021) but it must fit the given theme.

I have put a selection of caps featuring LGBTQ+ characters / actors below, but I’m sure there are loads more that I didn’t manage to pick out in the limited time I had to put this challenge together, so go forth and explore capspiration to find them! You can also at previews of all the caps in the ~all caps tag, but some screencaps posted to hosts like upl.co or photobucket.com may not display properly.

Please include the name of the character(s)/actor(s) you are iconning so I can check all the screencaps are eligible. Even better – link to the posts on capspiration that they came from if you are searching the tags over there!

You wrote characters / actors, does it mean that it is allowed to icon Matt Bomer from the show White Collar even if his character was not gay on the show, because the actor is gay in real life?

It's okay if only the characters are allowed, we do have a lot to choose from, I just wanted to be sure.

Correct, you could icon Matt Bomer in any role because he is gay in real life.

Michael from Star Trek Discovery isn't LGBTQ+ in canon, at least to my knowledge, but I could have missed something? Maybe? I don't think so though. LOL
