CHALLENGE 153: With a Little Help From My Friends

Apologies in advance for the spamming of your Reading Panes - unfortunately the journal import feature doesn't appear to be working any more so I am going to manually copy over about 10 entries from capicontest that haven't been imported, so the whole comm is archived here.

I'll be away without great internet until April, so nightbulbs is very kindly stepping in as mod while I'm away. If you have any questions/concerns that require a mod in the mean time, please direct them to her ♥

I messed up the timings of Challenge 134 and had reminders a week later than I thought and posted the next challenge before 134 had finished, so Challenge 134 - Glitter and Sparkles is still open for another couple of hours (until 23:59 BST tonight) and Challenge 135 - Costume Party will have a new deadline of 7th November GMT.

Apologies for the lack of notice but I'm taking some time off from LJ, including capicontest, for a couple of weeks as the last couple of months have been exhausting, and I need a short break. Will definitely be back by the end of the month, but hopefully before! As I can't give an exact return date I won't be posting/reopening any challenges, hope you understand!

Apologies for not posting voting or a new challenge yet, I'm currently on holiday with limited internet. Hopefully will have time this coming Sunday/Monday to get back on track :)

In the mean time, I have re-opened Challenge 108 (Full Body) in case anyone wanted to add and entry/icons. The challenge will now close at 23:59 (11:59pm) BST on Saturday 19th September.

Sorry about the delays with everything this week, work has been manic. I'm planning to catch up and post the new challenge on Monday.

Every entry should be tagged with challenge ###, maker: username, ~entries, where ### is the challenge number and username is yours.

A lot of entries lately have been missing the ~entries tag and I've had to add it in. It really helps me to have all entries properly tagged as we go so that when I'm collating entries for voting, or using the tags to go back through things when writing a new challenge, I don't have to keep re-tagging entries and I don't miss any in voting.

Hi guys, so sorry for neglecting the comm for a couple of weeks. I'm preparing for a two month trip abroad with work and there's a lot of things I've had to get sorted out, with very little free time to do it in.

The comm will be going on hiatus from Monday 4th November until early January anyway whilst I am away, but there's time to squeeze in a quick one-week challenge from Monday 28th October - Sunday 3rd October with all the new images posted up until this Sunday (27th Oct), which will probably be about 60 images total for the challenge. There won't be any chance of extensions and I may not be able to post voting/results before I leave on my trip.

Would anyone still like a one-week challenge next week with ~60 caps? Please comment below to let me know!

Hi guys, I'm running a little short on inspiration for challenges so I would really appreciate any challenge/theme suggestions here! Please try to make the suggestions fairly open so they are applicable to a wide range of screencaps and fandoms (something like 'your favourite character' wouldn't really work with a limited array of screencaps for example). Thank you!

Also remember you can leave suggestions and/or request screencaps at capspiration which will then be used in the challenges here at capicontest. The capspiration suggestions post is here!
